Marie’s Guide to Organizing Your Disney Stroller: Must-Have Accessories & Pro Tips for Stress-Free Travel
Here are some extra special tips for keeping your stroller organized and making everything easily accessible during your trip to Disney. After all, the last thing you want during a meltdown is to be digging through a chaotic stroller! These tips will also help you fold your stroller easily when hopping on and off Disney transportation.
Transportation Tips:
- Fold-down strollers: You’ll need to fold your stroller for:
- Small Boats
- All Buses
- Skyliner for side by side doubles only!
- You don’t need to fold down single or stacked double strollers
- Tram: All strollers have to be folded if you drive your car and ride the tram into the park. If we drove, we usually walk to avoid this extra step.
- Don’t Need to Fold Strollers on:
- Large Magic Kingdom Boats
- Monorail
- Wagons aren’t permitted, except for medical reasons.

You DEFINITELY want a jogging type stroller, it may not make a difference in a loop around your local park, but Disney is SO much walking and your body will thank you! They are very reasonable and convenient to rent!
Now, let’s talk about how to stay super organized and make your life easier at the parks! I’ve picked up these hacks after many Disney trips, and they’ve been game changers for me.

Must-Have Stroller Accessories:
- Parent Console
If you’re renting a stroller, I highly recommend Orlando Stroller Rentals, my go-to! Their strollers come with a parent console that has a cup holder and storage space, as well as a rain Cover. If you are bringing your own stroller here are a couple of my favorite options! - Rain Cover—a must for Florida weather, no matter the season. Cover your stroller even if there is a tiny cloud in the sky! It REALLY stinks to come out to alllll of your things SOAKING WET! The rain cover also acts as a great wind shield on those rare chilly days. Here are a couple options if you are bringing your own stroller for a SINGLE STROLLER and a DOUBLE STROLLER.
- Stroller Fan
A stroller fan is a must! THIS is my favorite one. It is super powerful and even has a light and a power bank to recharge your phone. You’ll thank me later when your phone is dying, and you still need to check wait times on the Disney app! - Side Sling Bag
I love using THESE super cute bags that strap on the sides of most any strollers for easy access to essentials, like bubble wands, baby slings, or snacks. They make everything accessible and stop you from digging through one large mess. - Stroller Hooks
We hang things like bags and water bottles from stroller hooks, but keep in mind that if your stroller is not front-heavy, hanging too much weight can tip it over! Still, these hooks make it easy to unclip everything when it’s time to fold up the stroller for transportation. - Toy and Drink Leashes
THESE leashes are lifesavers for keeping toys, bottles, and snacks within your child’s reach—and not losing them! They’re also great for teething; our youngest loved chewing on the leash during her last Disney trip. - Diaper Changing Pad
Forget hauling a full diaper bag around! I prefer THIS small, portable diaper changing pad with the basics: 3-4 diapers, wipes, butt cream (a MUST at the parks, I recommend putting on a sealing cream at EVERY diaper change, BEFORE the rash arrives!), a small toy, and a change of clothes. I even throw in a $20 bill and my phone for those quick solo diaper changes. - Mini First Aid Kit
Keep a mini med kit on hand with belly drops, blister patches, and Band-Aids to handle any small issues that pop up. I’ll be sharing all my favorites and must haves in a post soon. Make sure you are subscribed to my newsletter to know when it is published! - Catch All Bag
I learned this INCREDIBLE hack from the Pixie Dusted Mom-Check her out on YouTube!: take a foldable bag (any bag will work, but I love THIS one for all the pockets and being able to see through it) Throw everything into when you need to fold the stroller quickly for transportation. It also makes getting through security so. much. faster! You simply walk through the metal detectors carrying the bags, instead of security having to search and dig through everything in the stroller!
Stroller Security and Decoration Tips:
Once your stroller is organized, don’t forget to make sure you can find it quickly! Cast members often move strollers to make space, especially after big shows like Fantasmic!—and trust me, they all start to look the same at night.
- Lights and Decorations: We love decorating our stroller with fairy lights or Mickey-shaped lights, and sometimes we’ll add a fun balloon or even dollar-store flowers to make it stand out.
- Stroller Tags: Most rented strollers come with a family name tag, but adding extra decorations can help you spot yours in a sea of strollers. HERE is a personalized one I thought was SUPER cute!
With these tips and accessories, your stroller will be organized, efficient, and easy to manage during your Disney trip. Whether it’s catching a show, riding a boat to Magic Kingdom, or grabbing a snack during a parade, you’ll have everything you need at your fingertips!
